Maria Frances Parke (1772-1822) was an English soprano, pianist, and composer of keyboard music.She made her harpsichord debut at the age of eight and her piano and singing debut the following year when she played a piano concerto by J.S. Schroeter for her musician father’s benefit concert. She was praised for her tasteful and spirited playing. As a singer she performed in the Handel Commemoration concerts in 1784, and by age 20 she was a prominent soprano soloist in concert and oratorio settings in London. She sang at Haydn’s benefit concert in Hanover Square in 1794.
